HISTORY JOURNAL GUIDELINES


  1. Find a >500-word article published in the last two weeks about World History from a respected, reliable, fact-checked news source.  (The article should not be a blog post or opinion piece.)
  2. Print the article
  3. Read and annotate the article.
  4. Write two solid paragraphs (6-8 sentences each) about the article.  
    • The first paragraph should be a summary of the article.  
    • The second paragraph should be an analysis/commentary.
  5. Staple your writing to the article.
  6. Make sure your name and date is on the assignment.
  7. Put your work in your in-class History Folder.
